Overview

The Zapflow add-in is visible once you open an email in Outlook. It shows who the email involves and which opportunities they’re connected to, so you can log activity, link the email to a CRM record, create tasks, attach files, or start a new opportunity straight from your inbox.

The three tabs

The add-in has three tabs, shown as icons at the top. Hover over an icon to see the tab name. The number on each icon shows:

  • Contacts (people icon): the number of contacts and colleagues found on the email

  • Opportunities (briefcase icon): the number of opportunities linked to people on the email

  • Tasks (checkmark icon): the number of open tasks associated to people on the email

To learn more about each tab, see:

  • Using the Contacts tab in the Outlook add-in

  • Using the Opportunities tab in the Outlook add-in

  • Using the Tasks tab in the Outlook add-in

Open records in Zapflow

Click the Open in Zapflow icon (the box with an arrow) next to any person, opportunity, or task to open it in a new Zapflow window.

Refresh the add-in

If you make changes in Zapflow while the add-in is open, click the three dots and click the Refresh add-in button to see the updates.
