Pipeline Checklists

Customize simple checklists and mark items as completed in a swift.

Pipeline checklists works for both, Dealflow and Fundraising Pipelines. They allow you to create simple checklists where you can cross off completed items on a deal-by-deal basis. Below you can see an example of a checklist called “Screening Criteria”:

To configure a new checklist, follow the steps below:

1. Go to the deal or fundraising pipeline where you want to create the checklist

2. Click on the three green vertical dots found at the top right of the page

3. Click on Pipeline Checklists

4. A window will pop-up, click on the “+” sign to start creating a new checklist and type in the name you’d like to give

5. Select the fields you want to add as your checklist items from the fields under the “Add more fields” list. Important Note: the fields under the “Add more fields” list are custom fields of “Boolean” field type created on your environment. If you haven’t created them yet, you can save your changes and continue to create them. For instructions on creating new fields to use in the checklist feature please continue reading below.

How to create new Boolean fields to use for checklists:

1. Go to your Main Menu > Account Settings > Field Settings

2. Make sure you’re under the field settings of the entity you want to create fields for (Deals or Fundraising)

3. Click on “Add Custom Field”

4. Select “Boolean” under Field Type

5. Type in the field name under “Label”

6. Click on Create

7. Repeat steps to create as many fields as needed and save changes before leaving the field settings.
