What is the Editable Grid?
The Editable Grid extends the current Grid View by giving users the capability to modify a cell's value by clicking and typing, if a text or numeric field, or selecting, if a drop-down list field. With Editable Grid our users can edit the entities' data displayed in the Grid View, instead of only being able to view it.
Updating 'My Settings' - A prerequisite to using Editable Grid
Check with your dedicated Customer Success Manager or Account Manager to understand if your plan includes this feature. If so, they will confirm this feature is activated for your environment and you will have to perform the following few steps to turn it on in your account:
Click on Your profile in the upper right corner
Click "My profile and settings"
Click "My preferences"
Toggle on "Editable grid"
You'll know if Editable Grid has been enabled if you switch to the table view in from the right upper corner and then try double pressing inside the cell. This will either let you type in a new value or select from a drop down.
Using the Editable Grid
Once enabled, the Editable Grid is available in any view that has a 'Grid View'.
In the example below, we will be using the Dealflow pipeline to showcase the editable grid feature.
Once you've switched to Grid-Mode view, you can edit what columns you want to view. On grid-mode view, each column represents a field and you can turn on as many as you'd like. You can also re-order the position of each column by clicking and dragging it to the desired position. Steps to add/remove columns in the grid view:
To update a value, double click on its field. Once you've changed the value, your data will be updated in real-time: there is no separate button to click to save your changes
Important note - Updating values in Editable Grid mode depends on the field type:
Change text or numeric fields by clicking once and entering a new value (Ex: 'Ticket Size')
Change drop-down fields by double-clicking and selecting a new option from the drop-down list ( (Ex: 'Stage')
Not all cell values can be updated within the Editable Grid; some columns are read-only by design. The list of fields which are read-only depend on the entity in question. Please find a list of the read-only fields. If a field does not appear in this list then it should to be editable (as long as it is not marked as 'read-only' in the Field Settings).

Additional Information
In order to edit cell values in the Editable Grid you need to have edit/write permissions: either on the field in question or within the environment as a whole. (Admin users have permissions to edit the whole environment).
You can add more data for modification to the Editable Grid view by adding more columns from the table's menu accessed via the

What is the Bulk Edit feature?
We’re excited to introduce you one of the most-requested features, the Bulk Edit. With our new Bulk Edit feature, you’re able to mass edit the field value of multiple entities (Deals/Contacts/Companies/etc.) at once.
Note: We will use the Dealflow pipeline to showcase the Bulk Edit feature, however, please note that it works in the exact same way under all modules: Fundraising, Contacts, Companies, Investors, Holdings, Commitments, and Funds.
1. First go to one of your pipelines and switch to the grid view
2. Then, select the deals that you want to edit a field value for, by selecting the checkbox to the left. When you start this selection, you’ll notice that two buttons appear. “Delete” and “Bulk Edit”. Click on “Bulk Edit”.
3. A pop-up window will appear in your screen asking you to select the field you want to edit. The field selection list will reflect all deal fields currently turned on in your environment under field settings. For the purpose of this example, we will bulk edit the owner field of all of these deals.
4. Once the field to be edited has been selected, you’ll chose one of two actions to take: “Overwrite Content”, which will let you select a new option to populate this field under all deals selected or “Clear All”, which will let you remove the currently selected option under this field.
5. Overwrite Content – If you decide to overwrite content, you’ll be prompted to select the new option you want to update all the selected deals with.
6. Please note – others:
For field types that include a list of options, you’ll be able to create a new option from the same window. To do this, just select “Add content” as the selected action on the pop-up window, start typing the new option and then click on “Create new deal category”:
