When you invite a new team member to your Zapflow environment you are asked whether you want to make them a "User" or an "Admin User". Just "User" refers to a regular user. However for your reference, regular users still occupy a user seat towards the seats allowed in your Zapflow plan.
Regular users have almost the same rights as an admin user. Below you can find the biggest differences that are not available for regular users. Regular users can't:
Regular users don't have access to ANY functionality in Company Settings. They won't even see the icon to go to Company Settings. This means that they can't access field settings, team settings, import data via Excel, etc.
Regular users can't change pipeline settings (this is where you configure the stages within the deal/fundraising pipeline.)
Regular users can't configure field options.
We have also included an additional list of rights that a regular user does have. These are all based on frequently asked questions and you may be wondering the same. Regulars can:
Edit field information
Add notes, tasks, log calls, meetings, messages
Pass, put on hold, or send a deal to portfolio
Change card settings
Save custom views
Resolve tasks
Create and/or Delete deals, contacts, companies, fundraising opportunities, etc.
If you're looking to give a more restrictive access to someone, then you might want to consider using the guest user accounts. Guest users are available for Pro plans or higher. Please refer to our guest users article for more information about these.
If you have any additional questions or doubts about regular vs. admin user rights please contact your designated Customer Success Manager or Support@Zapflow.com.
