Email task resolutions

Walkthrough of how to work with email tasks

You have forwarded or CC/BCC emails from your inbox to Zapflow using Zapflow's BCC email address. This will automatically create an Email task within Zapflow. In this article, we will walk you through how to work with Email task resolutions and link these emails to their associated entity in Zapflow.

You will be able to access the Email Task by going to the "Tasks" model on the left sliding menu. Then Choose Email tasks and click on All Pending.

Once you click on the task, you will be able to see the details of the email on the left side of the page. On the right-hand side of the page is the two-step resolution task.

Please note: If you want to reassign the review to one of your team members, just click on the "Reassign task" button at the top of the page.

In the first step, you will be able to review the email contact and determine if you want to add the contact to your database. To do so, just click on "+ New contact".

A window will pop up, and you can add in additional information relevant to the contact. Then hit "Create".

In the next step, you need to link the email to different entities within Zapflow (e.g., Deals, Companies, Contacts, Committments, etc).

In this example, I choose to associate the email with a specific deal.

Now the email is linked to the deal "4 Psite". Then you can click on "Mark task as complete".
