When you login to your Zapflow environment for the first time, before any setting up or configuration has been done, you will find that there are five companies already added in your environment (Alpha technologies, Beta Industries, Gamma Inc, Delta ltd, Epsilon GmbH). These are added by default by Zapflow as a quick guide of how your companies will look when imported. These companies are linked to the portfolio companies reporting tool, therefore you must follow some steps before being able to delete the sample companies from your environment.
First, go to the Portfolio Monitoring module found in your navigation bar under the Portfolio Management section.
2. Click on the 3 vertical green dots at the top right of the page and select "Settings".
3. Click on the trash can icon to the right of all companies to delete each company one by one. A pop up window will appear for you to confirm that you want to delete the company reporting. Click on the check box and then the delete permanently button.
4. Now go to the Companies module in your navigation bar, found under the CRM section.
5. Select all companies by clicking on the checkbox to the left of each company and then click on the delete button.
