How to connect Outlook Add-in

This article outlines how you get started with Zapflow Outlook Add-in, how to install the Add-in as well as how to link the Add-in and Zapflow.

Downloading the Outlook Add-in

The outlook Add-in is available to download from the Outlook Add-ins store. The store can be accessed from the bar shown below and selecting Get Add-Ins.

MacOS:

In the Outlook Add-ins store search for Zapflow and install the Add-in.

Connecting Outlook Add-in to Zapflow

The connection between Outlook and Zapflow requires you to perform actions on both applications.

In Outlook, select an email and click the three buttons in the toolbar and from there select Zapflow for Outlook.

This will open up the Zapflow Add-in on the right to your Outlook. Follow the instructions on the page on how to get the pairing code.

  1. Login to Zapflow

  2. Click on your profile picture

  3. Click My profile and settings → Connected add-ins (If you are logged into the application the link in Outlook directs you to the correct place to generate the code)

  4. Click "Generate code"

    1. Note: In Zapflow to generate the code you will have to create a Connection name and choose the Connection duration. After this you can press Generate code.

  5. Copy the code and paste it in Outlook in the "Pairing Code".

  6. In Outlook click Connect ->

    1. NOTE! The code will only be valid for 5 minutes so you will have to make the connection almost right away.

  7. The system will send a email with a one time code

  8. Paste code into Outlook.

Disconnecting Outlook connection

Method 1: To disconnect Zapflow from Outlook, in Outlook in the Add-in navigate to the upper right corner, select the three dots and press Disconnect.

Method 2: Go to Zapflow click on your profile picture -> select My profile and settings → Connected add-ins -> Revoke
